Key Aspects of the Service
By creating an account, signing in with Google or using Passfolio (at getpassfolio.com and its subdomains), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- Passfolio is a secure management platform and secrets vault for developers, agencies and digital teams.
- You are the sole custodian of your account's master credentials and are responsible for the data you store in your vaults.
- We offer free plans and subscription plans with scalable limits according to your workload.
1. Acceptance of the Terms
This agreement governs access to and use of the software provided by Victor Luna Just (“Passfolio”). If you are using Passfolio on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have sufficient authority and authorization to bind that entity to these terms. If you do not agree with any clause, you must refrain from using the platform.
2. Service Description and User Accounts
Passfolio provides centralized tools to classify, share and store infrastructure credentials, client access, environment variables and server cards.
- Eligibility: You must be over 18 years of age or have legal authorization to enter into binding contracts.
- Registration and Authentication: You can sign up with email and password or through federated authentication with Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your access confidential.
- Breach Notification: You must notify Passfolio immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access or incident that compromises your account.
3. Acceptable Use Rules
By using the platform, you expressly agree NOT to:
- Store, transmit or distribute unlawful, fraudulent or defamatory content, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to decrypt, decompile, reverse engineer or breach Passfolio's security and encryption systems without prior written authorization.
- Use bots, scrapers or automated mechanisms to overload the API or degrade other users' infrastructure.
- Share access credentials of paid accounts among unauthorized users to circumvent the limits of the contracted plans.
4. Plans, Payments and Billing
Passfolio offers different service tiers with clearly defined limits:
- Free plan: free for life, with 1 workspace, up to 3 clients, 20 logins and 1 card.
- Freelancer plan: for freelancers and consultants, with unlimited clients, logins and cards and up to 5 workspaces, no team. Up to 2 paid extra people can be added per month.
- Agency plan: for agencies and studios, with 5 people per workspace included and up to 5 paid extra people, unlimited workspaces, an activity log and a list of logins to rotate.
- Agency+ plan: everything in Agency, with 15 people per workspace included and paid extra people with no cap.
Subscription payments are processed through Paddle, which acts as the authorized reseller (Merchant of Record): it sells you the subscription, issues the invoice including any taxes that apply in your country and processes refunds. Prices may vary depending on the country you subscribe from. By subscribing, you authorize the recurring periodic charge corresponding to the chosen cycle (monthly or yearly). You can cancel your subscription at any time; you will keep access to your paid plan's features (Freelancer, Agency or Agency+) until the end of the period already paid.
Refunds: if you are not satisfied with a charge, you can request a full refund within 14 days of it by writing to legal@getpassfolio.com or from your Paddle receipt; Paddle returns the money to the same payment method. After that period there are no refunds for partial periods, but you can cancel so it does not renew.
5. Encryption Architecture and Responsibility
Passfolio uses state-of-the-art cryptographic standards to store confidential data. However, you acknowledge that the security of a vault depends critically on your protecting your email account, your master password and the sessions signed in on your devices. Passfolio will not be liable for losses caused by weak passwords or devices infected with malware unrelated to the service.
6. Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to maintain continuous availability (99.9% projected uptime). However, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". Passfolio reserves the right to perform scheduled maintenance, update technical components or temporarily discontinue features to safeguard the integrity of the platform.
Exit guarantee: you can export all your accesses and cards at any time, on any plan, including the free one. If Passfolio stopped operating, we would give you at least 90 days' notice so you can export your data.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Victor Luna Just (“Passfolio”) will not be liable for indirect, incidental or punitive damages, loss of profits or loss of data arising from the use of or inability to use the platform.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any conflict, dispute or claim arising from the use of the service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
