Offboard a team member in one click

When someone leaves the team, you remove them from every client in one click. Passfolio shows you which passwords, 2FA codes and cards they viewed, so you know what to change.

Included from the Agency plan

The problem

"Someone left the team, what logins did they have?" Nobody knows which passwords that person saw or which ones should be changed, and client accounts stay exposed without anyone noticing.

How it works

  1. 1

    Check the impact before confirming

When you remove someone, Passfolio shows how many clients they could access and how many passwords they viewed.

  2. 2

    Confirm the removal

They lose access to every client in the workspace, their open intake links are revoked and their clients and cards move to the workspace owner.

  3. 3

    Rotate what they saw

Logins whose password or 2FA code they revealed are flagged "To rotate", and cards they viewed in full, "To review".

  4. 4

    Clear the list

A flag clears itself when you change the password or 2FA, or you close it by hand with "I changed it".

Details

  • It all happens in one step: nobody is left half-removed.
  • Only what the person revealed is flagged; copying a username doesn't count.
  • The removal is recorded in the activity log.
  • The impact preview and the "To rotate" list are included from the Agency plan.

Frequently asked questions

Are the logins that person added deleted?

No. Everything they added stays in the workspace; only they lose access.

Does Passfolio change the passwords for me?

No. It tells you which ones to change; you change them in each service and then update the login in Passfolio.
